Ramapo was developed at Rutgers University in 1968 by Dr. Bernard Pollack. It quickly became a favorite among gardeners for its excellent flavor, consistent fruit perfection, and high productivity. It disappeared from seed catalogues sometime in the 1990s, but has made a comeback in recent years. Packed full of mouth-watering old-fashioned flavor, this hybrid is one we trailed in 2016 and it did not disappoint! Semi-determinate plant growth, means you'll need a proper tomato cage (this one gets about 4 feet tall). A good sub, if sold out, is New Girl, Sioux, Siletz or Sisters.
